March, 2003 – Second Phase of Northern Cod Ventures Incorporated is Under Way

Atlantech^® Companies has recently completed the first phase of a turn-key Atlantic Cod Hatchery in Bay Roberts, NF. This initial phase involved complete system design including water supply, water supply disinfection (ozone / UV combination), water recirculation, filtration, oxygen generation, in-ground and above ground pipe / valves / fittings. All design included brood stock, live feed, early rearing and grow-out facilities with an initial production capacity of 500,000 juveniles per year.

Phase 11 of the project has now begun. Building construction, water supply and water supply disinfection are now complete with supply and installation of remaining system components to begin in the summer of 2003.
